Blake Shelton Dishes On ‘The Voice’ Co-Coaches

Blake Shelton is letting the cat out of the bag and dishing on ALL of the deets about his fellow Voice co-hosts. According to the country superstar…all of the coaches can, “kiss my butt!” Woah Blake, them is fighting words!
We’ve all seen the bromance blossom between Shelton and Levine. The truth is Shelton sees the Maroon 5 frontman as his punching bag. I wonder what Levine’s response to that would be? Shelton told Hollywood Outbreak, “If I didn’t have him as a punching bag down there, I don’t know what I would do.” Honestly the playful banter between the two is what keeps us coming back for more.
When speaking of co-coach Jennifer Hudson AKA J.Hud Productions, Shelton referred to the I Am Changing star as “sneaky”. Shelton reveled to the outlet that while J.Hud is super talented (Duh) she is the sly one of the bunch. Hudson definitely has a few tricks up her sleeve and could totally pull the W for this season. The former Dream Girls Idol experience has been the perfect foundation for her to coach for The Voice.
Shelton definitely treaded lightly when dishing on co-coach Kelly Clarkson. The reason you ask? The original American Idol’s husband Brandon Blackstock is the Ol’ Red singers manager. Singing his praises to Clarkson Shelton gushed, “I don’t know that theres ever been a person thats been a coach on this show thats more excited about being a coach on this show than [her] and it shows.” Its true, Clarkson is always beaming from ear to ear whenever we see her!
We would think that The Voice brings out a negative competitive nature among the contestants, but Shelton says, “The only real cutthroat things that are going on are things that are going on between the coaches.” Shelton should totally add comedian to his resume.
Ultimately all of the coaches want to see these talented singers win and that is what really brings them together. To keep up with the coaches and contestants, tune in to The Voice on NBC every Monday and Tuesday night.
