Raven-Symone Announces Marriage To Miranda Maday
On Thursday, Raven shared an Instagram photo of herself and Miranda on their wedding day. Raven, 34, was dressed in all black, with long braids dyed several different colors on the ends. Miranda wore an all-white outfit with a veil.
“I got married to a woman who understands me from trigger to joy, from breakfast to midnight snack, from stage to home,” Raven captioned the photo. “I love you Mrs. Pearlman-Maday! Let’s tear this world a new asshole!!!”
Raven also posted a photo of a house, thanking “all those who helped” and “those who understand why it was small during this time.” Miranda also shared a few snaps on her Instagram stories, featuring shots of wedding guests wearing face masks.
We don’t know that much about Miranda as of right now, but based on her Instagram account, she’s apparently a doula, someone who supports pregnant women through childbirth.
When Did The Masked Singer Black Widow, Raven, Officially Come Out?
Raven came out in 2013, when she tweeted her excitement over the legalization of gay marriage nationwide, writing, “I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you.”
The next year, she opened up about her sexuality to Oprah Winfrey, saying she knew she wasn’t straight when she was 12 years old. However, she said she was “looking at everything,” adding, “I don’t want to be labeled gay. I want to be labeled a human who loves humans.”
Raven has said she felt “lighter” after coming out. “I felt like I could go out and not have to put on 17 different hats to be myself,” she explained.
