‘BGT: The Champions’ Line Up For This Weekend

This weekend marks the final round of preliminaries on BGT: The Champions. Only two spots remain in the finals, and the lineup for Saturday’s episode has been announced.


Take a look at the nine acts who will be competing for either the Golden Buzzer or the audience vote, joining acts like Preacher Lawson, MerseyGirls, and Kseniya Simonova in the finals.

Alex Magala, Sword Swallower on BGT: The Champions

This death-defying Moldovan sword swallower has competed on several Got Talent shows throughout the years. He won Russia’s Got Talent in 2014, and went on to become a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent in 2016. He’s also appeared on America’s Got Talent, Italia’s Got Talent, Australia’s Got Talent, Ukraine’s Got Talent, and Česko Slovensko má talent. Earlier this year, he returned for AGT: The Champions.

Bars & Melody, Singing Duo on BGT: The Champions

This duo, made up of a young rapper and singer, made it to third place on Britain’s Got Talent in 2014. Their audition on the show sent a message against bullying, and earned judge Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer. They’ve since released two EPs and three studio albums.


Ben Hart, Magician on BGT: The Champions

This magician appeared on the most recent season of BGT in 2019. He finished the competition in third place thanks to his cool close-up and stage magic tricks, often involving the judges and audience.

Collabro, Musical Theatre Group on BGT: The Champions

This group of talented singers won Britain’s Got Talent in 2014. They auditioned for the show just a month after forming, singing “Stars” from Les Misérables. They received a standing ovation from the judges and audience. The group has since released four albums.

Daliso Chaponda, Comedian on BGT: The Champions

This comedian, who is originally from Malawi, came in third place on BGT in 2017. His audition earned him the Golden Buzzer from judge Amanda Holden. He has since had his own radio show called Daliso Chaponda: Citizen of Nowhere.


DM-X Comvaleñoz , Dance Group on BGT: The Champions

This Filipino dance group came in second place to fellow BGT: Champions contestant Sacred Riana on Asia’s Got Talent in 2017. Their performances combined dance with acrobatics.

Gennady Tkachenko-Papizh, Vocalist on BGT: The Champions

This act appeared on both Georgia’s Got Talent and Ukraine’s Got Talent. He definitely has a unique talent, as he makes mesmerizing nature sounds with his mouth. His audition on Georgia’s Got Talent earned a standing ovation.

Twist and Pulse, Dance Duo on BGT: The Champions

This dance act, consisting of Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy, came in second place on BGT in 2010. In 2012, they performed during the Olympic Torch Relay ahead of the London Olympics.

Vicki Barbolak, Comedian on BGT: The Champions

You might recognize this comedian from America’s Got Talent 2018, as well as AGT: The Champions. Her comedy touches on subjects like marriage, being a grandmother, and living in a trailer park.
