BGT returned on Saturday night with the fourth episode of the semifinals, as eight acts performed for the chance to make it to the Season 14 finals. Out of those acts, the judges chose one act from the night to go to the finals, while the audience will vote for the second act to move on.

Since Simon Cowell is still recovering from back surgery, former Britain’s Got Talent winner Ashley Banjo once again filled in as a guest judge. The audience, meanwhile, was made up of people watching virtually from their homes.

Billy & Chantelle
This young dance duo had to rehearse separately due to lockdown. They returned to the stage to perform a circus-themed routine in which Chantelle pretended to be a marionette. David Walliams called it “original,” and Ashley Banjo praised their technique.
Chineke! Junior Orchestra
Several members of this orchestra appeared in person on the BGT stage, while others performed virtually. They shared an instrumental mash-up of popular songs like “Uptown Funk” and “Shape of You,” along with some classical melodies. Amanda Holden called it “epic,” saying it was better than their audition. David said it was “relevant to absolutely everyone.”
Katherine & Joe O’Malley
This Disney-loving duo, who’ve auditioned several times over the years, returned with Katherine singing “Into the Unknown” from Frozen 2 and Joe dancing in an Olaf costume. Alesha Dixon buzzed the act, but David Walliams gave them a standing ovation. Amanda told Katherine she should considering going solo, while Ashley said he was “deeply confused,” but he enjoyed it.
Kevin Quantum
This scientific magician shocked and impressed the judges by playing with electricity. He invited them on stage to help him with various tricks, including illuminating a light bulb, breaking a glass jug, and making himself disappear and then reappear at David Walliams’ desk.

Jon Courtenay
This funny pianist earned the Golden Buzzer from Ant and Dec during the BGT auditions. He returned to the show to share his “dad jokes” and sing about his parents. His mother even appeared virtually on the big screen, causing Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon to tear up. The judges gave him a standing ovation.
Jasper Cherry
This young magician wowed the judges with a routine involving phones and a deck of cards. Using a pre-recorded video, he did something seemingly impossible. Ashley Banjo, who helped out with the trick, was blown away.
Papi Flex
This spooky contortionist returned to perform on a graveyard set, making the judges cringe with his freaky moves. At one point, he bent his finger back, prompting Amanda Holden to shout, “Don’t do the finger thing!” She later called it “beautifully executed” but “horrible” to watch. David joked that it was an amazing talent, but it shouldn’t be shared with the world.
Belinda Davids
This Whitney Houston tribute artist returned to the stage to perform a powerhouse cover of “I Have Nothing” that drove the audience wild. The performance had the judges lip-syncing along with her. At one point, Ashley and Amanda stood up to applaud before Belinda was even done singing.
‘BGT’ Results: Who’s Going To The Finals?
The judges were tasked with choosing their top three performances of the night, and then voted on which act should move on to the finals. The top three were Belinda Davids, Jasper Cherry, and Jon Courtenay. The judges voted to send Jon Courtenay through to the finals.
The remaining seven acts are up for public vote until Monday, and we’ll find out who went through at the BGT final in October. Let us know in the comments which act was your favorite!
