‘BGT’ Judges Simon Cowell And Amanda Holden Talk Botox
ITV BGT judges Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden aren’t afraid to admit that they’ve had Botox injections. In a new interview, Simon says that they actually joke about it with each other.
Simon’s plastic surgery history has been in the news lately, after he appeared on the AGT live shows looking a little different. The judge has recently lost weight thanks to a vegan diet, and he’s also admitted to undergoing a facelift.
Simon Cowell And Amanda Holden Joke About Botox
In an interview with the Mirror, Simon referred to his and Amanda’s “Botox years” on Britain’s Got Talent. “All of us are like, ‘Christ, we had a lot that year. Not so much that year… maybe a bit too much that year,'” he said.
“You know, the old clips of us are hysterical, Amanda’s always like, ‘What was I thinking?’, I said, ‘Well, I don’t look a lot better,’” Simon continued. “I look all right now, but certain years it was like, ‘Wow’, I don’t know what was going on.”
Simon has reportedly been such a fan of Botox, he’s given colleagues vouchers for the procedure at Christmas.
What Plastic Surgery Has Simon Cowell Had?
Botox injections are used to reduce wrinkles by paralyzing muscles in the face. But that’s not the only work Simon Cowell has admitted to having done. He’s also talked about getting a facelift.
Last year, he reportedly got a £2,000 procedure from the “Picasso of dermatology.” According to the Sun, the Silhouette Soft Lift aims to eliminate sagging skin by sewing bioplastic-infused thread into the patient’s face and neck.
“There’s lots of things you can do now. You don’t just have to stuff your face with filler and Botox,” Simon told the paper. “It hurts like hell but it gets rid of sun damage and unplugs all the crap.”
