‘BGT’ Judge Strips Down on Instagram and Fan Reactions Are Priceless
Followers of Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams on Instagram sure get an eyeful today! The British comedian posted a throwback photo with his former comedic partner Matt Lucas. I would explain the photo, but I figure the picture speaks for itself. And just so you know, it is a little (pun intended) NSFW.
The photo of the two comedians is a throwback to their days on a show called Little Britain. The sketch comedy show was written and performed by David Walliams and Matt Lucas. In this particular sketch, the pair were playing characters Mark and Tom, two bodybuilders known as the “Gym Buddies.” This comes from the American version of their sketch show, which aired in the early 2000’s.With the help of prosthetic bodysuits, the two comedians show off their biceps, washboard abs, and…well, a little more.
Fans instantly loved (and hated) the throwback photo. Now, it has more than 70,000 likes and plenty of comments! Here are a handful of our favorites:
“this is the worst best thing I’ve seen”
“I don’t think I’ll ever be able to eat again.”
“I just saw this and laughed so hard drink came out of my nose!!!xxx”
“What a duo”
But not everyone experienced the same nostalgia when they saw the photo. Some did not think it was appropriate for Instagram and made their opinion known. Here’s what a few followers had to say:
“Eww Why would u post this as probs 10 year olds would see this”
“very inappropriate to your younger audience”
“my eyes have been scarred”
Other fans were not having their criticism though and urged followers to take this as a joke:
“My 4 year old just saw this and laughed! Stop sexualising the natural human body! It’s not offensive, it’s natural. And this isn’t even real it’s a suit which is pretty obvious, lighten the hell up! Woke!!”
No matter what your opinion is on the photo, this is definitely one Instagram post I did not expect to see today! David Walliams just completed his seventh season as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent, where he has been a judge since 2012.
