Are Julianne Hough And Brooks Laich Getting Back Together?
Instagram Julianne Hough and estranged husband Brooks Laich were recently spotted eating lunch together in California. This has sparked rumors that the pair might be considering a reconciliation after announcing their separation in May. They were married for three years before mutually deciding to split.
Julianne Hough And Brooks Laich Were Spotted Together
Julianne reportedly continued to smile throughout the conversation she had with Brooks while the two caught up. They previously were spending quarantine during the coronavirus pandemic apart to give each other space. Julianne stayed at their California home while Brooks was in Idaho. Divorce rumors have been constantly swirling after Hough was seen without her ring on out in public. But maybe Julianne and Brooks were just handling quarantine a little bit different than every other couple.
Some think this meeting may mean that they are giving their marriage another go. This is not the first time they have seen each other since the separation though. On Julianne’s 32nd birthday, Brooks came to celebrate with her in July. The former America’s Got Talent judge and Dancing With The Stars pro even said that she was “Feeling super loved right now,” during her celebration on her Instagram.

Why Did They Separate?
Rumors began swirling about their possible separation months before it was even announced. Julianne had hinted in interviews that she was going through some major changes in her life and was a completely different person from when they got married. Last year, she revealed to Women’s Health magazine that she had told Brooks she is “not straight.” She also referred to undergoing a “massive transformation.” This changed their relationship immensely. “Brooks was determined to make it work, but he was constantly questioning what changes he needed to make for Julianne to be happy,” a source said. “He was fighting with this for months and it was very hard for him to let go of his marriage.”

“To say things are complicated would be an understatement, but it doesn’t seem like either one of them is ready to close the door for good,” a source told People. “[He] definitely still open to getting back together with Julianne. If that were an option, he would be all in.” It definitely seems like more of a possibility now that the pair are back to seeing each other face to face.
Julianne Hough Hinted That The Separation Was Making Her Feel ‘Depressed’
Julianne previously posted some cryptic messages on Instagram that many think stemmed from the separation. “When feeling stuck, depressed, anxious, or hopeless, try taking your attention off of yourself and helping someone less fortunate than you. Selfless acts of service ignite life force energy in the giver” her post said. Sources close to her also told multiple outlets back in July that she “won’t answer anyone’s calls or texts, including her closest friends.”

For now, Julianne and Brooks still look like they are on a friendly level as they continue to support each other but are not officially back together.
