American Song Contest Returns With Semifinals Episode Two
On May 2, this series returns to NBC for their semifinals heat two. After some amazing first semifinal performances, Allen Stone from Washington once again won the jury vote. Next week, ten more artists will perform for the chance to continue into the finale. Tenelle, Sweet Taboo, Michael Bolton, Stela Cole, Broderick Jones, Enisa, John Morgan, Chloe Fredricks, Christian Pagán, Tyler Braden, and Grant Knoche are all performing once more.
On April 25, Enisa was revealed as American Song Contest‘s second redemption song. She was brought back because her song “Green Light” continued to receive streams. All performers will perform an elevated version of their original song on the stage.
Fans cannot wait to see the next ten singers in the competition. During the last set of performances, AleXa from Oklahoma stood out as one of the most impressive artists of the week. Ahead of this performance, fans of the series accused her of lip syncing on the stage. To beat out the accusations, she showed back up to the stage with no backtrack and still put on a highly choreographed performance. Even if she doesn’t make it to the end of the competition, it’s clear that she’s filled with talent.
