‘America’s Got Talent: Live!’ Happened Last Weekend And It Was Epic

This past weekend was very exciting for several America’s Got Talent Season 13 alums: they finally got to live out their Las Vegas dreams. That’s right, America’s Got Talent: Live! 2018 was a huge success, and included lots of fun performances and special surprises!
The show, performed at the Paris Las Vegas from November 2-4, was headlined by reigning AGT champion Shin Lim, who wowed audiences with some seriously spellbinding card magic.
Had a blast at the @AGT live show at Paris and got to be a part of the show! @ShinLimMagic is legit the GOAT card magician. Show was a blast from start to finish. pic.twitter.com/FgW7ReGT68

The format for this year’s performances seemed to largely follow that of the 2016 and 2017 iterations of AGT: Live! meaning several other Season 13 finalists joined the fray, with each act having one or two segments during the performance to show their stuff. Duo Transcend showcased both their acrobatic and roller-skating skills, Vicki Barbolak and Samuel J. Comroe showed out with their comedy chops, and Courtney Hadwin belted out several big numbers, including an original song.
Wow. @CourtneyHadwin slayed her performance tonight at @AGTLiveTour at the @ParisVegas. Soooo amazing! #AGT #Vegas #CourtneyHadwin pic.twitter.com/7Et5y3KSPt

Entertainment Tonight went backstage during rehearsals for the show in a fun video you can check out below!
One of the highlights of the show for a lot of people who were lucky enough to experience it was a secret – but very special – guest…Hans! He came out to surprise the audience with a high-energy and very theatrical number at the end the show, and the crowd went wild for him every time.
I had the time of my life in VEGAS for the @AGTLiveTour with these spectacular people who I adore with all my heart! pic.twitter.com/3PAfH8UVjK

Kudos to all the acts for a great run and to the AGT: Live! team for another successful weekend of performances! We can’t wait to see what all of these amazing and talented acts do next. Shin will be part of a run of shows in New York starting at the end of this month, and has been in talks for a Vegas residency at some point in the future. As for the other acts, it looks like some of them are or will soon be on tour, so hopefully fans who weren’t able to see their favorite act in Vegas will get to in a more convenient location for them.
In the meantime, we have America’s Got Talent: The Champions to look forward to in January (which looks like it will include at least one act who was part of this year’s Vegas show).
