Simon Cowell has been selling houses left and right lately and it doesn’t look like he’s stopping any time soon. Simon’s latest knack for real estate has heated up as he recovers from his electric bike accident. The America’s Got Talent judge just sold his third home in the span of a few weeks.

Simon Cowell Sells Second Beverly Hills Home

Simon sold his second Beverly Hills property for $14.5 million. This is actually a pretty big loss for the entertainment mogul who bought it in 2011 for $15.5 million. The deal was quiet as Simon never officially listed the property for sale. Simon did remodel the four-bedroom mansion three times but did not live in it. Instead, he favors his Malibu home where he has spent the most time living with partner Lauren Silverman and their six-year-old son Eric. The house was designed in the 1960s and has a private screening room and a gym.

About a week ago, Simon purchased former ‘X Factor’ star Leona Lewis’ Hidden Hills home in the prestigious area of Los Angeles. He sold it almost immediately after. The off the market deal did not prove to be such a great money maker for Simon. He originally purchased the home for £2.9 million but sold it for a loss of £155,000 at £2.8 million. This converts to roughly $3.4 million that Simon initially paid for the home and a loss of around $183,636 when he sold the home. Why was Simon willing to suffer such a monetary loss? It definitely seems like Simon was willing to give real estate a go and help out a friend in the process.

Simon Also Listed His LA Bachelor Pad

Simon recently placed his Los Angeles bachelor pad on the market.  We have seen this house numerous times on shows like The X Factor during the judge’s home round. “Simon absolutely loves this house, and for a while, it was his dream home,” A source told The Sun. “But also it holds one too many showbiz memories. Now that he has a son and a long-term partner, he wants to lead a simpler life. [He wants to] create new memories not revolving around rock n’ roll, TV or parties.”

Simon and Lauren have been together since 2013 and it genuinely seems like Simon has settled into a more calm and quiet lifestyle in between jet setting all over the world for shows like America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent and recovering from his bike accident. It was not always so set in stone that the entertainment mogul wanted to settle down. He has an extensive relationship history which we talk about in the What’s Hot Video below. His relationship with Lauren definitely seems like something longterm as he is looking to make the Malibu house their forever home.

According to Variety, Simon just sold this home for $25 million.
