‘America’s Got Talent’ Fans OUTRAGED After Judges Fail To Keep Feng E In The Competition

The first week of the live shows on America’s Got Talent definitely ended with some controversy. After three acts immediately were put through to the next round by America’s votes, three others were eligible to receive the Dunkin’ Save. And when it came down to the judges save at the end of the night, many people felt they got it wrong. Check out our recap below to find out how it all went down.
Fans Think The ‘America’s Got Talent’ Judges Got It Wrong Eliminating Feng E
Archie Williams, Shaquira McGrath and Roberta Battaglia were all voted to the next round by America’s votes. It was announced at the beginning of the show that the next three highest vote-getters eligible for the Dunkin’ Save were ukulele player Feng E, sword swallower Brett Loudermilk and singing duo Double Dragon. After an intense 30 minutes of voting, Terry Crews announced that Brett recieved the most votes and was, therefore, advancing in the competition. Then, it came down to Feng E and Double Dragon who had to vie for the judge’s votes to stay in the competition. Feng E put on an incredible performance with a total rockstar vibe, but in the end, Kelly Clarkson was the only judge who voted to keep him. The other three voted to save Double Dragon who will be moving on in the competition.

This caused quite the stir online as many felt that Feng E definitely deserved a spot in the next round. Not to discredit Double Dragon because they definitely bring good vibes and energy, but their vocal talent was not up to par with some of the other acts. “@AGT Feng E. Didn’t make it through. The judges picked Double Dragon. What the actual! Pure insanity. Outrageous. He is a prodigy. They are good singers, at best…” one America’s Got Talent fan tweeted.
Other’s shamed the judges for putting Double Dragon through solely based on the energy they brought to their performance. A part of the reason why Double Dragon went through maybe in part because they actually were there in person while Feng E was there via satellite. They may have just simply resonated with the judges more.
There Is A Chance He Can Come Back For The Wild Card
If you are one of the many people that think Feng E was robbed by the America’s Got Talent judges, there may be some good news. There is expected to be two wildcard spots that will give the opportunity to two acts to return to the competition. This includes acts that did not make it to the live shows, along with acts that have been eliminated from the live shows.
So, definitely voice your opinions and make it known that you want Feng E to come back as one of the wildcard acts. America’s Got Talent listens to their fans’ feedback.
