‘America’s Got Talent’ Contestants Tease Their Acts
Tomorrow we get the 3rd live quarterfinal show of America’s Got Talent and speculation is running high as to what the performers are going to do. The show posted this teaser with the contestants using three words to describe their act.
They don’t tell us what song they are going to sing, what they are dancing to, or whatever Sara has Hero trained to do. It’s probably hard to distill your act which you may have worked on for years into three words, but they did it. Mike Yung, the NYC subway singer with the golden voice, said his act can be summed up with “Pop, loud, and unexpected”. I’ve actually heard Mike at the 23rd st. station in New York and he’s pretty astounding. Fan favorite Kechi said her act can be described as “Escape, dream, and reality.” We can certainly understand, given everything she’s been through, that she’d want an escape into a dream from reality…if that’s what she means.
Oscar Hernandez’s three words are just what we would expect: “Fierce, fabulous, and fire”. No doubt it’s going to be exciting. “Powerful, meaningful, and inspiring” is what Angelina Green promises. Angelina has a lot of fans out there that will be rooting for her. She’s many people’s favorite among the 50,000 kid singers that have appeared on the show this season. Dog act Sara and Hero synthesized their complicated choreography and symbiotic dance between human and canine by saying, “Bark! Bark! Bark!” Sounds good.
I guess we’ll find out tomorrow what all of these cryptic words mean. Except for Sara and Hero. Their description is pretty self-explanatory.
