‘America’s Got Talent’ Act Suspends From Her Hair in Terrifying Audition

Aerial artist Danila Bim has been performing her mesmerizing routines all over the world for over two decades. She decided that America’s Got Talent is the perfect place for her to shock everyone with her hair suspension act. The performer from São Paulo, Brazil is seriously bringing the danger factor to her Season 16 audition.
Danila Bim Shocks the ‘America’s Got Talent’ Judges with Her Hair Suspension Act
Danila has performed with Ringling Bros and Cirque Du Soleil in the past. Something tells us that America’s Got Talent will be the show that launches her to stardom. She has already proved that her hair is super strong with this daring act. After Danila introduced herself during her audition, a production member came out to clip her onto a wire by her hair.
The judges were completely shocked because they have never seen anything like this before. Howie Mandel made a comment that he and Terry Crews are going to appreciate this act “more than anybody else.” Danila was lifted into the air by only her hair and put on a gorgeous aerial routine with several jaw-dropping moments. Her control and strength were on full display throughout the routine. The judges gave her a well-deserved standing ovation.
Danila’s act is very unique and was not so easy to train for. At the age of 18, Danila turned to the circus to help diversify her work. She had to condition and train her scalp to be able to hold her body weight. After six months of testing out the act, she was able to take flight using only her hair. This led to the premiere of her hair act in the Cirque Du Soleil show Volta in 2017.
What Goes Into Danila’s Hair Routine?
In 2019, Danila was featured in a Today segment where she walked viewers through her daily routine. She also is a master of the aerial hoop which she spends hours stretching for before performing the act on stage. The burning question on everyone’s minds is obviously what goes into Danila’s hair routine?
Danila spends about 25 minutes doing a set of knots in her hair to make sure every single strand is put together. The two components she weaves into her hair are a metal ring and a rope. She fastens it into a bun and is ready to go. After years of experience, she is pretty much a master of making sure her hair is perfect before all of her performances.
