‘American Idol’ Judges Dress Up For Halloween on ‘Live! With Kelly and Ryan’

The next season of American Idol is still months away from hitting the airwaves, but the team is already preparing for the upcoming crop of talent. Yesterday, the entire judging panel appeared on Live! With Kelly and Ryan and in the spirit of Halloween, they donned some special outfits for the occasion.
Each judge wore a different inflatable animal costume. Luke Bryan was an eagle, Katy Perry a sloth, and Lionel Richie a panda. The studio audience loved it, even if it was difficult for the judges to get comfortable sitting for an interview after jamming out with the crowd!

They also played a fun game of “Who’s Most Likely?” with Ryan, and it turns out Katy isn’t the only Idol cast member who would do some pretty “out there” things! Sadly, she was the only one who decided to stay in costume for the entire time (or maybe she was just too lazy to change out of it; very sloth-like if so!)

American Idol will return for its second ABC season in 2019.
