Former AGT star Angelina Jordan recently announced that she’ll be releasing a brand-new original song this week, and it sounds like it might be a tearjerker. The 14-year-old posted about it on Instagram.
Angelina previously won Norway’s Got Talent when she was just 8 years old, and made it to the Top 10 on AGT: The Champions earlier this year. Read on to find out more about her new original song.
Angelina Jordan Releasing A New Song
Angelina posted the cover image for her new song “Million Miles,” saying it will be available Friday on all platforms. She added that the song is “dedicated to anyone who has lost a loved one.”
“I wrote this song thinking about all the great memories I had with my grandpa and how much it hurts to lose someone,” Angelina added. “I hope this song finds a place in your heart, as it comes straight from mine.”
Earlier this year, Angelina Jordan released her cover of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” as a single. She previously released an album called It’s Magic in 2018, before her appearance on AGT: The Champions. It will be nice to hear something new and original from the young singer.
Angelina’s ‘AGT: The Champions’ Journey
Angelina Jordan’s incredible cover of “Bohemian Rhapsody” earned the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum on AGT: The Champions earlier this year. That sent Angelina straight to the finals, where she performed “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” by Elton John.
During the finale, she performed with fellow contestant Tyler Butler-Figueroa and past contestant Kseniya Simonova. She sang “Someone You Loved” by Lewis Capaldi. Angelina didn’t end up winning, instead finishing in the Bottom 5 of the Top 10.
Still, her amazing voice has wowed vocal coaches and viewers alike, and there’s no doubt she has an amazing career ahead of her. We can’t wait to hear “Million Miles” when it’s released this Friday.
