Adam Cunningham: ‘The Voice’ Singer With The 9 Lives
It seems like every season on one of these talent shows there is one contestant that keeps hanging on despite many setbacks. On this season of The Voice that person is, without a doubt, Adam Cunningham. He’s made it to the top 8 semifinalists in spite of several times where it looked like he was going home.
Adam is fantastic and any other year he would have dominated. But this year the show has a lot of belters and incredible vocal talent and his eclectic modern country sound has sometimes been overshadowed, great as it is.
He was eliminated from team Blake during the knockouts and was saved by Adam Levine. Then he was in the bottom two twice and clawed his way back with a killer performance this week.
I admire Adam. A lesser artist would have given up but every time he gets knocked down he dusts himself off and keeps going. He told our corespondent Parris on Monday that he’s thankful for these challenges as it’s forced him to grow as an artist. That’s a great attitude to have. We wish him well next week.
