AGT: Extreme Premieres Feb. 21
The original planned premiere date for AGT: Extreme has been changed after NBC delayed American Song Contest. American Song Contest has been delayed by the network due to concerns related to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. In its place AGT: Extreme will premiere on NBC on Feb. 21 from 8-10 p.m. This series will stay in that timelot for four weeks.
The new series strives to showcase the music outrageous and jaw-dropping acts to an outdoor stage. The Extreme contestants will compete for a chance to win $500,000 prize and the ultimate title of the champion of “America’s Got Talent: Extreme.” Judges for this series are talent show mogul Simon Cowell, WWE veteran Nikki Bella, and Travis Pastrana. This series is also hosts by Terry Crews. Fans are happy to see this show come to air after an on-set accident that changed filming schedules.
NBC’s other new show, American Song Contest will now air on March 21 in the same time slot. Their season will be on air for eight weeks with a scheduled finale on May 9. This new show takes on the format of the legendary Eurovision Song Contest series. There will be 56 singers apart of American Song Contest, each representing a state, territory, or Washington D.C. They’re all competing for the title of best original song.
I probably will never be on AGT because I live in the UK so possibly BGT I was always scared because I have never been a very confident person so this helped me with this so thank you .
