As more people around the world stay home in quarantine and practice social distancing due to the coronavirus pandemic, some heartwarming photos and videos are going viral.


People can’t go about their usual routines, so they have to improvise with the help of family members. One photo in particular is capturing the internet’s hearts. It features a 92-year-old man coloring his wife’s hair for her. We’re not crying, you’re crying!

According to E! News, the photo comes from Yael Shapira Avraham, who appears to live in Israel. “These are my grandparents 92 years old (may we be healthy),” Yael wrote on Facebook, according to a translation. “In every situation my grandfather is worried that my grandmother will feel well-groomed you don’t see things like this every day.”

In the photo, Yael’s grandmother can be seen sitting in a wheelchair with a towel around her shoulders, holding up a mirror to watch her husband apply hair dye to the roots of her hair.

People clearly love the photo, as it has over 57,000 reactions and 5,000 shares. “One of the most beautiful pictures I’ve seen in the last period,” wrote one user, according to a translation. “I wish for everyone such love.”

The above photo is especially meaningful considering the fact that older people are at a higher risk of severe cases of COVID-19. People have been encouraged to think about the health of the most vulnerable people when choosing to stay home during the outbreak.
