5-Year-Old Channels Her Inner Shirley Temple And Nails The Song And The Moves On ‘AGT’ [VIDEO]
NBC One of the cutest AGT auditions ever came from Heavenly Joy Jerkins in Season 10. Heavenly’s combination of singing and tap dancing, to a Frozen song no less, earned comparisons with Shirley Temple.

Heavenly Joy Jerkins Auditions For ‘AGT’
Heavenly Joy was five years old when she auditioned for America’s Got Talent in 2015. Her mom said she “lights up” when she sees a stage, adding that it’s “her home.” That definitely seemed to be true, as Heavenly declared, “I’m so excited!”
When Heavenly told the judges she would be singing and tap dancing at the same time, Howard Stern pointed out that it can be hard to do if you get out of breath. He asked if that would happen to her, and she answered definitively, “No.”

Heavenly shared that she wouldn’t want to keep the million-dollar prize for herself, instead saying she would give clothes to people who don’t have them. The audience was touched by her comment.
The talented youngster went on to sing “In Summer” from Frozen, while dancing along in her tap shoes. The judges couldn’t stop smiling as she performed. “You’re going places,” Howard told her.
What Did The Judges Think Of Heavenly’s Audition?
Howard shared that when he was a kid, he used to watch Shirley Temple movies. Heavenly told him she’d watched those movies too. “I think Shirley Temple is living somewhere inside of you,” Howard told her.

He went on to say Heavenly “would have been a terrific Spice Girl.” Even though she knows Shirley Temple, that reference went over Heavenly’s head. “I don’t know what that is,” she said. “I wasn’t born yet.” Mel B didn’t take it too personally.
Heavenly Joy earned four “yes” votes from the AGT judges, but she didn’t get further in the competition. However, that didn’t stop her from performing. She’s also appeared on Little Big Shots, and sang at the 2016 Republican National Convention.
She also released a single called “War” in 2016, and the video for her song “Christmas Time” has over a million views on YouTube. You can follow her on Instagram, where she’s also posted footage playing the piano. Talk about multi-talented!
