For the first time in over a month, TWO members of The Four lost their chairs on last night’s episode. One of them was James Graham, an original member of The Four, who was finally dethroned in his fifth battle of the season. Newcomers JeRonelle McGhee and Leah Jenea Gaines took down Noah Barlass and James Graham, respectively. JeRonelle was a real standout. Now, we’re going to dive in to his background and learn more about who the newest member of The Four really is!


He is an R&B Singer

JeRonelle is an R&B singer/songwriter originally from Omaha. Growing up, he could often be found singing at church services, school events, local talent shows, and even singing background vocals for other local artists.

He’s a Full-Time Musician

JeRonelle now lives in Los Angeles. He moved out to LA to pursue music just over two years ago, shortly after graduating with a degree in Music from Clark Atlanta University.

JeRonelle’s biggest musical inspirations include Donny Hathaway, Daryl Coley, John Legend, the Jackson family, and Justin Timberlake.


He isn’t New to the Stage

He has shared the stage with nationally known recording artists such as Common, Deitrick Haddon, and Geoffrey Golden.

JeRonelle Has Made Quite a Name for Himself

JeRonelle has already released almost a dozen original songs, including an EP called “Finally” in 2016.
