5 Facts About ‘Spyros Bros’: The Filipino Brothers That SHOCKED ‘America’s Got Talent’
One of the most anticipated acts of AGT Season 15 is the Spyros Bros. These brothers from the Philippines perform the diabolo, or Chinese yo-yo. As seen in their leaked audition, the act is unlike anything else we’ve witnessed this season.

1. They live in the Philippines.
Marco, 25, and Marc, 23, were born and raised in Queens, New York, by Filipino parents. According to their website, they moved to the Philippines after completing primary and secondary school in New York. They’re attending college at Adventist University of the Philippines. During their audition, Marco said he’d been practicing the diabolo for 11 years.
2. They’ve won two talent shows already.
The Spyros Bros have quite the track record on talent shows. They were named First Grand Champion on the Philippines talent show It’s Showtime, beating 15 grand finalists from around the country. Check out their incredible performance in the video above.
They were also named Hall of Famers and Grand Champion on Talentadong Pinoy Worldwide, beating six other Hall of Famers and winning the Texter’s Choice award for the most text message votes. Can they extend their luck to AGT?
3. They’re the only ones doing diabolo in their country.
According to their website, the Spyros Bros are the only ones performing the diabolo in the Philippines today. Their approach to the practice is also unique, in that they blend the diabolo with acrobatics, lights, and projection to tell a story. As they say in their bio, “It’s rarely seen in the world and on TV.”
4. They appeared on ‘Big Brother’ in the Philippines.
In 2019, the brothers performed with the diabolo on Pinoy Big Brother, the Philippines’ version of the Big Brother franchise. The housemates were clearly impressed with their skills. The brothers were also guest coaches for the show’s weekly challenge. Check out their appearance above.
5. They’ve already reacted to their audition.
After America’s Got Talent shared a sneak peek of the Spyros Bros’ audition, Marc shared his reaction to the video on YouTube. “I’m shaking,” he said as the clip started. He pointed out that no one noticed he was sitting in the audience as his brother started the routine.
“Look at that slo mo!” he exclaimed as the audition got exciting. He also pointed out his cousin in the crowd. Marc then recorded his brother’s emotional reaction to the video. We can’t wait to see how far they go in the competition.
