11-Year-Old Filipino Girl Has Powerful Voice On ‘BGT’ That You Need To Hear To Believe [VIDEO]

Arisxandra Libantino moved to Nottingham from the Philippines when she was six years old. For her season seven ‘BGT’ audition, Arisxandra sang “One Night Only” by Jennifer Hudson and had everyone up on their feet in awe at her talent. Arisxandra Libantino Blew The ‘BGT’ Judges Away With Her Powerhouse Vocals

Stepping onto the ‘BGT’ stage, the judges complimented how adorable Arisxandra looked in her pink sparkly dress and matching shoes. But nobody ever expected what happened next. She shocked everyone with her powerful voice that was well beyond her years.

Simon called Arisxandra “superhuman” after hearing her sing. He questioned whether or not it was actually her singing. She insisted it was her singing through a laugh. “It’s one of the best auditions we’ve had so far,” he said. “You did literally lift the roof off of this building,” Amanda Holden said.

“I think this is the clip they’ll show like in 10 years’ time when you’re like the biggest star in the world for like bigger than Beyonce or something but just when you are a big star, remember us, the little people,” David Walliams said. She received four yes’s to move her on to the Semi-Finals where she sang Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing.” David gave her a standing ovation after her powerhouse performance and made it known he was rooting for her.

She advanced on to the Final where she performed “The Voice Within” by Christina Aguilera. She finished the competition in eighth place.

Where Is Arisxandra Now?

After competing on ‘BGT,’ Arisxandra went on to conquer other talent competition shows. She appeared on Next Star, a Romanian talent competition. She ended up being named the winner of the entire thing due to her tremendous talent.

In 2017, Arisxandra auditioned for The Voice Teens Philippines. She sang “Million Reasons” by Lady GaGa. She earned a spot on Coach Sharon’s team and made it all the way to The Knockouts.

“I had to face many challenges along the way such as studying while being on the show in the Philippines and to connect singing and education together” she said in an interview about her experience on The Voice Teens Philippines. “It was a very stressful experience, but I had to focus on what I did back then which was singing. My distractions were also another obstacle that I overcame.”
