Noah Epps made waves after his season 15 audition for America’s Got Talent went viral. It now has over 55 million views on YouTube. So of course we had to take a deep dive and learn a little more about him after such an explosive introduction to the ‘AGT’ franchise.

1. Noah Epps Came To ‘America’s Got Talent’ After Being Bullied

Noah began his dance career five years ago after being bullied. He saw a few kids having a dance battle a couple of years ago and they would not let him in the circle to show off his moves. They told him his dancing was not good, which is totally not cool. We know that Simon Cowell has said that America’s Got Talent has a zero-tolerance policy for bullying so it seems like Noah came to the perfect place to show those bullies how much of a boss he is. The bullies only fueled his interest in dancing even more.

2. Noah Has A Strict Training Schedule

Noah trains for 15-20 hours a week in between dancing, acting classes, auditions, callbacks, traveling and performances. His family is the definition of busy getting Noah from place to place. But they would stop at nothing to see their child become a star and live his dreams.

3. He Has A Very Close Relationship With His Sister Nola

Noah’s seven-year-old sister Nola is also looking to break out into the world of entertainment. She is an actress and a model and her big brother is always sharing adorable snaps of them hanging out together. The pair got to walk the runways at New York Fashion Week together. She just booked her first supporting role in a feature film.

4. He Gets Some Of His Talents That He Showcased On ‘America’s Got Talent’ From His Mom

Noah revealed that his mother Natasha Feliciano is also double jointed. He definitely gets some of his dance talents from her genes. This allows him to pop and tut and literally imitate the movements that make it look like he is breaking his bones.

In an Instagram post, Noah referred to himself as a “navy brat.” His mother Natasha served 11 years in the Navy. She recently retired as an SH1 petty officer first class. This has allowed him to live in several states and countries. His grandfather, uncle, aunt and cousins also served in the military.

6. This Is Not His First Time Trying Out For ‘America’s Got Talent’

Noah’s dad Brandon Epps spoke in an interview about how this is his third time trying out for America’s Got Talent. The other two times he sent in video auditions but nothing came of it. After increasing his training, this time definitely seems like it could be lucky for Noah who finally has the chance to show the judges what he can do.

7. His Mentor Is An Extremely Talented ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Contestant

Noah’s first mentor was So You Think You Can Dance alum Ryan “Opium” Green. If you remember anything about his audition, it’s that he glided across the stage in the swiftest movements ever. His style of dance is so unique, no wonder Noah is so talented and has so many cool moves. He said that Ryan “went nuts” after seeing his ‘AGT’ audition. Noah also heard from So You Think You Can Dance winner Fik-Shun after his audition. He said that he thinks Noah is in the right hands and can go very far in the competition.

8. Noah Is Multi-Talented

Noah previously was featured as a dancer in Liam Payne’s music video for the song “First Time.” He also is a black belt in Taekwondo. He has dabbled in acting, modeling and is now conquering America’s Got Talent.

8. Noah Was Not Expecting To Get Such Rave Reviews From Simon Cowell

Coming onto America’s Got Talent, Noah did not know what to expect. He even thought it was possible he could get a buzzer. Obviously, he had an exceptional performance and praise from Simon. “I really didn’t think he would say anything remotely close to that,” Noah told Patch. “If he had said anything positive at all, I would have been amazed.”

10. Noah’s Schoolmates Are Very Supportive Of His ‘AGT’ Journey

Noah is a rising seventh-grader at Stone Hill Middle School. His teachers and classmates were crying and texted him to congratulate him after his America’s Got Talent audition. His friends have also come to his house to tell him how proud they are of him, socially distanced of course. And he has every right to be proud with the most-watched audition of season 15 so far.
